Prince George’s Path to Greatness would like to thank Washington Gas, HD Squared Architects and Grant Capital Management for their sponsorship of the First Annual Holiday Mixer.

In a phrase, our mission is “Celebrating and Elevating Our County.”

More specifically, Prince George’s Path to Greatness has as its mission to support social service charities of Prince George’s County while inspiring a heightened image of the county that serves to benefit all residents and the entire region.

Prince George’s Path to Greatness is a 501(c)3 pending, non-profit, charitable organization that raises funds from special events celebrating and showcasing the greatest assets of Prince George’s County. Proceeds from events hosted by P2G, as well as funds raised from other activities will be donated to non-profit programs throughout Prince George’s. Our focus is to support programs that are committed to address youth issues, literacy and health & safety issues.

Path to Greatness was formed in November 2010 to usher in new leadership for Prince George’s County with a series of Celebratory Inaugural Events. P2G donated proceeds from Inaugural fundraising, $5K each, to The Family Crisis Center of Prince George’s County and The Literacy Council of Prince George’s County.

We are continuing our efforts with a full focus on charitable support in Prince George’s County.

We support organizations in the county that:
-address literacy issues
-inspire, mentor and provide for our youth
-promote health and safety for residents

P2G will also reach out into the world community by helping organizations that provide life sustaining water, food and healthcare to the most impoverished or tragedy afflicted areas of the world. We as Prince Georgians know that an awareness of our connectedness to the world, combined with our active involvement with improving it will only move our own community farther along the path to greatness.

Our next gala event will be held in fall 2012 and will showcase the impressive array of performing talent of our county. Every year, we plan to sponsor a family event that is free to the public.

Our eyes are set on greatness for Prince George’s. With every step on this path we plan to showcase all that is wonderful and amazing about this county while creating more to celebrate. Join our dynamic and growing group of committed citizens and businesses. This promises to be a fruitful and rewarding journey!
